Band is looking for singer (male/female):

Style is very danceable original material, similar to Jamiroquai and Maroon 5. An ideal singer would have a similar voice as Jay Kay or Adam Levine but no clone. As for females, Lisa Stansfield style singing would be neat – a combination of soul and a little bit jazz. Stage presence as the lead singer will be important.

This is a band making original songs so an ideal candidate would contribute with melodies, riffs and lyrics for the final songs.

Attention all musicians!

The Center for Music National Service is working with Laguna Honda Hospital in San Francisco to host a monthly performance series.  We are looking for individual musicians or small ensembles/bands to volunteer their time to perform for Laguna Honda residents.  I can testify from working at Laguna Honda myself that music is sorely needed and much appreciated by the hospital community.  All it takes is an hour of your time to share some music with people in need.  Music National Service can offer some modest compensation for travel costs, etc.  If interested, please reply here.
