Introduction to Singing in the Studio

Sunday, May 6th from 2:30pm – 4pm
Class size limited to seven people.

Have you ever wondered what some of the trade secrets were for singing in a studio?  How come some people sound so intimate while others are able to produce a sound that comes through powerfully even through the speakers of your home? Class will be held on site at studio and students will be given an overview of the recording studio with detailed instruction on what the studio has to offer the vocalist and how to best utilize the tools available to the recording artist. Students will also be able to record a one take sample song to take home an analyze.

Private vocal coaching and studio time are offered upon request.

OVERCOMING Stage Fright

Wednesdays, from May 2, 2012 to June 6, 2012.
7:30pm – 8:30pm

Do you have stage fright?  Have you always been shy?  Are you a performer at heart but your nerves are getting in the way?

In this six week class students will tackle the main issues driving their performance anxiety.  With the support of their instructor and fellow students, students will begin performing, first for each other and finally for an open mic night.  Due to the personal nature of stage fright and the individual attention needed, class size is limited to five students per session.
